ALADDIN'S CAVE

Today we had a fun afternoon at the National Theatre prop hire. Amongst the more curious items was the restraining chair and chamber pot from The Madness of George III, the seagull from The Seagull and the barber’s chair from Sweeney Todd. We came away with just what we were looking for - some deck chairs for the reception.

Lizzy says: "I was somewhat taken by the mummy, the big bulls head, the stuffed albatross gull and the collection of swatika-military uniforms. Really wanted to play around with the Nazi am bands but thought better of it after Prince Harry's faux pas. Alas Dave and myself stuck with the deck chairs and wicker screens and union jack flags. That's enough for now, I think."
